The Arrom Aparicio family has been tending this estate for four generations. Historically, Sa Simentera de Canet has transitioned from growing carob to oranges, and from oranges to winemaking.
Seeing that traditional agriculture was in the midst of a major crisis, and with the intention of preserving the farm’s agricultural and productive essence, Miguel Arrom Oliver (3rd generation) and Ana Aparicio García San Miguel decided to embark on a winemaking project focused on producing fresh, balanced wines using native grape varieties and grapes grown exclusively on the estate. This project was named Rondaia.
Currently, one of their sons, Gabriel (4th generation), is in charge of the vineyard and ensuring the quality of the wines.

The Malvasía arrived in Mallorca over 2,000 years ago, witnessing countless conquerors and the conquered, but it wasn’t until the phylloxera epidemic that it nearly disappeared entirely. A few years ago, the variety was revived from a handful of old vines that had managed to survive, and today, as if a fairy tale had come true, we can enjoy it with Rondaia.
It features a straw-yellow color with golden hues.
On the nose, citrus notes such as lemon and grapefruit are apparent, evolving toward minerality.
On the palate, it is a well-structured wine with a natural acidity reminiscent of Atlantic wines, yet without losing its Mediterranean character. Its structure and length on the palate are also noteworthy.

Rosé wine is considered one of the most challenging wines to produce, as there are many variables at play: acidity, color, aromas, tannins, alcohol content, etc.
We wanted to create a top-quality rosé that would stand out for its intense red fruit aromas, attractive color, and silky texture. The result was Rondaia Rosat.
Its onion-skin color stands out.
On the nose, aromas of red fruits such as strawberries are apparent.
On the palate, it is a well-rounded wine with sustained acidity.

Rondaia Fusta is a wine crafted to showcase the Malvasía de Banyalbufar grapes grown on our estate.
The exceptional quality of our grapes and their high natural acidity allow us to create a wine designed to age gracefully and be remembered.
Before fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to a new French oak barrel, where it rests for 4 months. It is then aged for at least two years in the bottle, resulting in a wine that is unique in Mallorca.

The vineyard is located in the Sant Pere Valley, an idyllic setting renowned both for its views and its favorable climate (moderate temperatures and the constant, gentle Tramuntana breeze).
With southern exposure throughout the day and abundant rainfall year-round, the quality of the grapes is exceptionally high. This, and nothing else, is the key to our wines.
Our mission is to produce terroir-driven wines; therefore, the number of bottles we produce each year is limited to the grape yield from our estate.
